The Malayan Chinese War Memorial (1941-1945)

This is one of the rare Memorials that is dedicated to civilians who lost their lives in WWII. As far as we know, the Memorial does not have a formal name. We called it as “The Malayan Chinese War Memorial” simply because it is located in the Chinese section of the cemetery plus the inscription on the Memorial structure is in Chinese characters with English words at the bottom that states “In  memory of those who lost their lives during the Invasion of Malaya (1941-1945)”. We are not sure when this Memorial was built but we can safely say that not many people know of this Memorial.
